I saw them in Atlanta Georgia in 1968 in my high school days. It was possibly the most intense experience of my young life!!! Electric Kool aid was passed through a crowd of maybe 150,000 or more people. The ground actually shook when they hit the first notes. The sound appeared to be coming not from the stage , but from the sky as if it had landed on our ears from space. I will always remember Robert Plant shirtless and suntanned body on stage crouching down waving his free hand at the crowd shouting out " Are You With Me Man?" Then throwing the microphone 20 feet into the air and upon catching it the band hit the note that seemed to rock the earth beneath us!!!! Scott 72 years old on this 9-30-2023
Sounds like an incredible show! Glad u got to witness history. It’s kinda strange when u look at footage of crowds at their performance in the early daze (1968) folks weren’t screaming and cheering. They looked like they weren’t sure how to respond. Of course that soon changed.

Hey there distant Brother, greetings from Melbourne Florida!!! I'll be 62 yrs old in February. I've been a huge Zep fan even when I was a little kid, and got to see the original lineup back in the 70's. I think I was only 13 at the time, but I had a lot of friends who were quite older than me, with some already in their 20's. This is how I got to go to that concert. Then in 1995, we got to see this very show, Page & Plant doing this Un-Ledded tour, in Orlando Florida. I can honestly say, both Plant and Page were far better and on top of their game compared to the show in this video. They were SO damned good that night in Orlando, as the entire crowd was walking out of the auditorium after the show, all you could hear from EVERYONE ( including me and my bandmate ) was: "That was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced in my entire life".......or something very similar. They were so damned good, we had over an hour's drive back home and every time we tried to play the radio or a CD in the car, after only 60 seconds or so, we would just look at each other, smile, and turn that shit off...........because NO music could even come close to what we witnessed, heard, and felt that amazing night in Orlando Florida. Plant's vocals were VERY strong, and Page was playing better than ever.......he even had the best tones of any guitar any of us had ever heard from anyone, barr none. I will never forget that night. Cheers!!!

Rest in Peace to the greatest concert taper of all time, The legend Mike Millard.
Let's just take a moment to remember what a superb drummer Michael Lee was - struck it very lucky there - This is such a great magickal gig - I never tire of it - :)
I agree. The drummer adds new life to a hell of a back catalogue. The orchestral arrangements are well suited to this incarnation. What a concert and very professional plant and page make for a superb collaboration.
What a concert, i thought celebration day was awesome man this is right up there if not better ,Michael Lee is just pounding on the drums like they owe him money, what a drummer he was RIP. WHAT a treat this was to see. Plant and Page ,there is no substitute !!
It's criminal that I've never seen this...oh well-the first time is generally the best! Apparently there are other old ladys rockin the Zep like me...who knew? Knowing it brings me special joy!
No one could ever imitate Page or Plant. They are their own entities. Michael Lee was awesome. We can't have Bonzo back. No one can replace JPJ. And there will never be another Led Zeppelin. So take this with grace and be grateful.

...w historii muzyki rockowej wstrzymali muzyczne Słońce i ruszyli Ziemię, wstawili w swoje nuty wulkany emocji od pierwszych chwil LZ. Dzięki nim możemy słuchać tych cudownych dźwięków...do końca świata.
I’m a huge Zep fan. Saw Page/Plant with the orchestra, and unfortunately missed this tour. Oddly, the most talented guy on this stage at this point is Michael Lee the drummer. Sadly, he passed away. RIP.
Always a great show by two of the legends of Rock History, Page due to all his session playing was exposed to Muddy Waters and and of course they both r extremely creative, and emotional musicians that envelop the best times of my life Ed
First, respect to Michael’s entire body of work and we lost him far too soon. What I personally liked and admired most about his work with Robert and Jimmy was the fact that he never tried to sound like John. He was true to Michael Lee and certainly paid homage to some of the more memorable licks that John played and made famous, but always stayed close to his own sound and style. I think that was the ultimate tribute to John honestly. “I can’t be John Bonham, so I’m gonna be Michael Lee playing the hell outta those parts” is very self aware in my opinion. Can you imaging how incredible this gig felt?
"Ramble On" had yo be the 3rd song so Lee and Jones could come up for air! Phenomenal !!! I love hearing this when I'm feeling old. Already feel 30 yrs younger after 3 songs!
I was not in Cali. during this tour but saw this show in Denver twice because tix were in such demand. I was thrilled to see 1/2 of Led Zeppelin. With RPs backing band and Porl Thompson (guitar), and others...was a great show.
Saw them on this tour at MGM... I was speachless for a day or too after seeing my childhood heros live like that.... Then saw them again at Jones Beach in 1998... Can't believe how quickly time flies... At the time I felt like 70's LZ was ages ago, ancient... But it was just 2 decades prior, but now almost 3 decades after 1995 slipped away like a passing moment - pooof, gone.... Sad... Life is way too short...
They came to Knoxville in the mid 90's and I didn't go thinking that it wouldn't be the same without John Paul and Bonzo. Boy was that a mistake that I can't do over.
Of all the times I have seen LED Zeppelin in concert, they've never played such a fabulous set of their older songs! Wish I'd have been there!! Thank you for posting this!!
Maybe it was just inadequate crowd miking, but I thought the Egyptian ensemble did an incredible job and got a lukewarm applause. Undoubtedly the best Zeppelin show I have ever seen. Including those with Bonham.
Yeah, I had seen them 3 times in the 70's and all 3 times, they were a little sloppy and slow. I think sobriety has a lot to do with it. I still love them!
When I saw this show in Indy, I’d taken my little brother to his first concert. We had some lass enthusiastic people in our section off the floor. But I showed him proper appreciation of historic artists getting off. Jimmy page was on our side of the stage too. And yes, my little bro and I finally succeeded in getting his attention- he freaking paused and pointed at we two, who’d been screaming his name and rocking the fuck out…. He paused and pointed to us, the entire section drew in their breath… and we shit our pants. Right before we congratulated each other and pointed at the lame fuckers around us sitting down…!!!! I’ll never forget that.
@josephconyer2421 Good on you and your brother! I've seen Led Zep live 3 times and they never disappointed me in the least!! The times that I saw them WAS in the '70's, so they were still a "tight" band!
Omg this montage is killer!!! You know Robert and Jimmy are like how we have the sun and the moon a fork and a spoon... Bravo to this amazing show! Lol starsky and hutch! More like Captain Kirk and Spock! ❤️

Thanks for this. I was here. I remember I paid for the gas and a bunch of us got let in. They let youths who carried equipment in for free. Totally lovely memory. Later when I was 18 I got to meet Plant on his birthday. I gave him a poem in a card I drew, and he likes it genuinely and invited me anytime to visit his property! I still gotta go there, it's on my list. A genuinely good mood person who values other's. When I met Page in New Orleans, at Tippitinas, he was very quiet and preoccupied. I write and he was practicing. It was a soft evening. I think I snuk drawing his hair in the dusk. Anyway, I wish and hope for more memories! Lovely 🌹
Thank you for this comment -I discovered the entire group sometime around the very late 90s believe it or not & I just turned 80 & fell immediately in love with their music & then especially with Jimmy because of his particular Genius and that we love the same exact things - Poetry, Pre Raphaelite Art, STRANGE SOME SAY THE DARK SIDE OF ESOTERIC WHICH WAS JUST THOSE WHO FORSAW THE FUTURE LIKE BULWAR-Lytton (he was a Lord who wrote in the 17th or 18th Century about things like Artificial Intelligence, Computers, Electricity, Robots, Electric Vehicles, creeps like Elon Musk & Trump! & really too much else to even begin to go into so Jimmy just said “Do what thou wilt” in other words you do you & I’ll do me but that was too much for a lot of people combined with his purchased of the house that belonged to the rebel “dark lord” overlooking where the so-called Loch Ness Monster swam in the deep dark waters and everyone still had their Camelot lyrics & Lord of the Rings Tolkien swimming round their impressionable empty heads and their imaginative album covers especially the one with the four symbols - Jimmy’s ZoZo, his beautiful iconic Dragon suit, his dark Beauty, his playing that there in, that sequence in “The Song Remains the Same’ where he climbs up the mountain on Loch Ness & meets the Wizard with his bare hands (his guitar playing hands grabbing rough rocks if you please) And the Wizard turns out to be him & ages backwards then drifts off back into Space into the Galaxy - it’s extraordinary - all their sequences which they wrote or co-wrote themselves are autobiographical & are truly extraordinary!! They are simply extraordinary but for me - as the Genius founder , he is a simply the one & as the principal writer
And very few mentions of the extraordinary Egyptian musi clans who add so much musicianship to this extraordinary concert- they are beyond the beyond!!

Robert & Jimmy Mega Stars in all Universe ✌⚡🔥♥️⚡🔥✌👏👏👏
Jimmy and Robert were one soul!
Mike Millard who taped some of the best sounding Led Zeppelin shows between 1975 & 1977 sadly passed away in 1994. if he were alive when this show happened, I know for a fact he would’ve been there in full gear taping this show. Rest in Peace to the greatest concert taper of all time, The legend Mike Millard.
Let's just take a moment to remember what a superb drummer Michael Lee was - struck it very lucky there - This is such a great magickal gig - I never tire of it - :)
Майкл делает работу боле похожей на Бонзу, чем его(Бонзы) сын.
I thought the same as you....
I agree. The drummer adds new life to a hell of a back catalogue. The orchestral arrangements are well suited to this incarnation. What a concert and very professional plant and page make for a superb collaboration.
Michael passed away ….😢
@@lisamoroney3036 I know that’s why I said ‘was’ a superb drummer. Awful he died so young:(
To think if Robert had continued on in his construction job ... we would have never known this unique and extraordinary voice!
I was there. An otherworldly experience. Truly.
1977 world tour was better. I was there!!!
That’s amazing!!!! Your face should have a permanent glow about it 😇

Please God just one more round with Paige plant and John Paul Jones just one more time
In heaven 💕
Yes! Yes! Yes! Jimmy forever! And ever!
No one could ever imitate Page or Plant. They are their own entities. Michael Lee was awesome. We can't have Bonzo back. No one can replace JPJ. And there will never be another Led Zeppelin. So take this with grace and be grateful.
@@lindasulla5302 you’re right no one can replace bonzo But it was special with the original three and Jason

Seen Zep a few times in their prime. This is by far the best set list of all! The only thing missing was the squeak from the late great Bonzo's kick pedal on "Since I've been loving you!"
Definitely, and on Ramble On....😞🙏❤️

Did you get to see Grateful Dawg at all? That would have been awesome!!

It's crazy because I was going to 40-50 concerts a year back then. I was a 24 year old drummer and I wanted to see everybody and of course we were smoking and drinking during the show but I remember two songs that I will never forget Ramble On and In the Evening. I was mesmerized
Ludwig Drums have always had a classic distinctive rock 🪨 sound. 🥁🪶🦋🕊️🥁🥁🥁😇🎼✌️🚗🎻🙌
This is the best greatest guitarist of all time. Not one person comes close before or after any kind of guitar doesn’t matter.
For sure, as it is said "Jimmy Page was really the closest thing to the British white guy version of Hendrix".

When Robert's voice warms up I'm in a time machine.

OMG! I think "In the Light" may have been the first metal-like sound ever heard..
Tremendous concert. It really does not age. Wonderful.
Almost Indian Mystism to the music. Sublime talent.
One of the best recordings of the 95 tour that I've come across. Great sound.
I agree, INDEED!
Terrific concert by Page and Plant!!!!!😍😍😍😘😍🤗😍😍😍😍😍😍

Good Lord how on earth does Robert Plant continue to BRING IT? ❤️
Pure talent!
I was oh so fortunate to be there with my brother, and will never forget that night. I never saw the original line up, but the hammer of the gods filled the Meadows that night!
I must say Led Zepplin is one of the best rock bands of all time, I saw them live in Seattle WA. I wasn't quite 21 years old 💞💌

The excitement they bring to an arena is incredible!
Thank you for uploading this, Tubevoice! 😊
Saw them on tour in Montreal in 1995, insane energy in the venue, everyone up on their feet start to finish. Alchemy.

And check out Jimmy. He's in fine form here and having fun!
I remember you, LOL JK. I was there too,
I was there too with my husband who has since passed good concert!!
心が暖かくなるライブです❤一瞬、照れくさそうなジミーと、清々しいロバート、ステキな二人です🎉オープニングからすごくかっこいい❤
I think Michael Lee deserves a lot more credit for his drumming during this phaze...I always look for more of his immage on stage.
100% correct. Wonderful Chap too...But his feel/style/playing is the closet to the King himself....
I agree! He was excellent with Page/Plant 🙌🏻
Top notch. Any drummer knows doing Bonham justice is a tall order.
@sezwah1414 he's no lightweight drummer you don't know what you're talkin about
"Ramble On" had yo be the 3rd song so Lee and Jones could come up for air!
Phenomenal
!!!
I love hearing this when I'm feeling old. Already feel 30 yrs younger after 3 songs!
Спасибо за составленную программу Как вишенка на торте!
I believe they're at their finest. A little production to match the albums, I think they enjoyed playing. I highly recommend this vid.👍
I was not in Cali. during this tour but saw this show in Denver twice because tix were in such demand. I was thrilled to see 1/2 of Led Zeppelin. With RPs backing band and Porl Thompson (guitar), and others...was a great show.

I never seen Led Zeppelin but I did see Page and Plant, Orlando, May of 1995. Very cool show!
Wonderful concert l wish I had been there....Timeless!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😍😍
One the greatest live sets ever recorded.
Thanks this is awesome how I remember seeing them I'm 62 seriously I will never forget
almost 30 years and it never ceases to amaze me.
This is fantastic !
They came to Knoxville in the mid 90's and I didn't go thinking that it wouldn't be the same without John Paul and Bonzo. Boy was that a mistake that I can't do over.
Could listen to them all day 😮
Wow, I can't believe I just found this..OUTstanding show! Thanks for the music Percy and Jimmy!
I am even later to the party. This is wonderful! Legendary ❤
Of all the times I have seen LED Zeppelin in concert, they've never played such a fabulous set of their older songs! Wish I'd have been there!!
Thank you for posting this!!
Me too!
I was there.

The greatest rock and blues song i've ever heard,i admire so much LED ZEPPELIN.
